- This is the final modified version of a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ); the Solicitation Number is SB1341-02-Q-0427. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Number 2001-06. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 421430; the small business size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for responsible companies that are small businesses under NAICS Code 421430 (500 employees or fewer). The Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN's) and associated descriptions, quantities, and units of measure are as follows: CLIN 0001: Part Number: A25-UJD2-2GGB1; Description: E450 2x400 MHz/2GB/2X36GB; Sun Enterprise 450 Server; includes two 400MHz CPU's with 4MB cache; 2GB memory; 10 PCI I/O slots, DVD, 1.44MB floppy drive, 10/100 Ethernet, two power supplies; 4 hot swap UltraSCSI disk bays, (2) 36GB SCSI disk drives; Quantity: 2; Unit: Each. CLIN 0002: Part Number: X2244A; Description: OPT 400MHZ CPU w/4MB for E450; Quantity: 4; Unit: Each. CLIN 0003: Part Number: X7005A; Description: OPT Memory 512MB (2x256MB) (must be Sun memory (not 3rd party memory); Quantity: 8; Unit: Each. CLIN 0004: Part Number: SOLZS-080B9AY9; Description: S8 English-Only CD Media Kit; Quantity: 2; Unit: Each. CLIN 0005: Part Number: X1033A; Description: OPT INT PCI 10/100BASET NIC 2; 10BaseT FastEthernet PCI Adapter w/MII Sun FastEthernet 2.0 PCI is a 10/100 Ethernet NIC supporting the 33MHz PCI interface standard; Quantity: 2; Unit: Each. Quoted prices for CLIN's 0001 through 0005 must be F.o.b. Destination. Items 0001 through 0005 must be new items (i.e., may not be refurbhished items.) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition; Offerors must follow the instructions in provision 52.212-1 in submitting their offer. Award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose quotation has both been determined to be technically acceptable and to represent the greatest value of all quotations received by the Government, price and other factors considered. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial items,with their offer. The Offeror must indicate in their quotation the duration of warranty for each CLIN and delivery turnaround time (after receipt of offer) for each CLIN.
