DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. The Walla Walla District, Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm- fixed price construction contract for fish pump butterfly valve hydraulics rehabilitation. The work will consist of replacement of the existing hydraulic control system for eleven 96-inch diameter butterfly valves. Components to be replaced will include the following: three hydraulic power supply units, 5 gpm @ 1000 psi; various manual shutoff/isolation valves; check valves and flow control valves; direction valves with solenoids; pressure gauges; pressure switches; accumulators, 10 gallon capacity @ 100 0 psi; eight manual hydraulic pumps, 1500 psi; and appurtenant piping and hoses. The estimated completion date for this work is NLT February 23, 2003. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Standard Indu strial Classification (SIC) code is 1629 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 234990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $28,500,000. This procu rement is open to both large and small business concerns.
