Description: NA SOLICITATION NOTICE: Fort Wainwright, Alaska has a requirement for POTASSIUM PERMAGANATE & SODIUM CARBONATE (SODA ASH) FOR WATER TREATMENT PLANT (a) Contractor shall supply the chemicals that must meet AWWA standards for water treatment. (b) Chemicals mus t be supplied in maximum 50-pound containers. (c) Minimum Potassium Permaganate needed for one year is 416 containers or 20800 pounds. Maximum needed is 500 containers or 25000 pounds. (d) Minimum Sodium Carbonate needed for one year is 1500 containers o r 75000 pounds. Maximum needed is 2100 containers or 105000 pounds. (e) All deliveries must be made between 0700 and 1400 Monday through Thursday. (f) Number of containers or orders will be called in by James Whiteman or Paul Karl to winning supplier. (g ) Chemicals must be supplied in approximately 1 month quantities each delivery. Base Year: May 15 or Date of Award whichever is later during the period of 1 May to 30 Sep 2002 to include 3 Option Years.
