- This solicitation as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about May 20, 2002. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of constructing a new wood frame building utilizing the steel framing and slab of the existing maintenance building, creating a new Visitor Center. Work includes, without limitation: foundation walls, concrete slab on grade, interior and exterior rough and finish carpentry, including wood shingles and trim; shingle and copper roofing and flashing components; clad wood windows; wood doors with glass lights; interior and exterior finishes; architectural specialties; complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, devices and associated equipment; complete fire detection/alarm and -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text
