- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a cost reimbursable type contract with Sippican INC, 7 Barnabas Road, Marion MA. The requirement is for Electronic Warfare Research and Development (R&D) studies in accordance with a Statement of Work. The three basic areas of R&D studies being procured are Dual RF Critical Component Development Studies, Enhanced NULKA Payload Security Studies and Low-Cost Technologies for Guidance and Propulsion Studies. These studies are for the enhancement and protection of current and future NAVSEA PMS-473 Decoys and Deception Devices. The highest level of security required under this requirement is Top Secret, which will be designated on DD Form 254. Possession of this level of clearance will be verified prior to award. These requirements will be procured on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. It is anticipated that the delivery will be FOB Destination Crane Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana within 12 months after contract award.
