Description
The U.S. Coast Guard ELC has a requirement for the purchase of Exhaust Manifolds (Risers). Various quantities. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Coast Guard ELC, Columbia, MD 21046. It is anticipated to award a requirements contract, firm fixed price with one base year and four option years. Delivery to be approximately 60 calendar after date of each individual delivery order. It is possible that the U.S. Cost Guard ELC will conduct a reverse auction. This Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be issued via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the Request for Proposal will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the EPS website at www.eps.gov for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The date and time for receipt of proposals shall be specified in the Request for Proposal. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 332996 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The reverse auction, if it is conducted, will take place during the period from early February 2002 to late March 2002. Please direct inquiries to the Contract Specialist only. ATTN: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
