- Description
- The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Northeast and Caribbean Region 02 is actively seeking firms to address Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technological requirements that may be applied to a campus type facility in the New York metropolitan area consisting of numerous buildings and future requirements. By sending out a "Request for Information" GSA, FTS hopes to gain a list of qualified vendors that they can consider for future work projects. Please respond to the following questions thus providing us with insight on your qualifications: I. Demonstrate job examples of your VoIP and Telephony Design and Installation experience. Provide three detailed examples of the largest project sites you have accommodated with this service / solution. (Cite Points of Contact (POCs), Facility graphic diagrams, hardware and software acquisitions / solutions, Interoperability with preexisting systems should be cited, showcase future expansion plans). II. Demonstrate job examples of your Fiber Backbone testing and installation experience. Provide three extensively detailed examples of the largest project sites you have accommodated with this service / solution. (Provide examples of documentation / forms utilized in tracking the testing of installation's operability) (Cite Points of Contact (POCs), Graphic diagrams, hardware and software acquisitions / solutions, facility cabling infrastructure, interoperability with preexisting systems should be cited, showcase future expansion plans). III. When addressing Questions I and II we would like to see how you handled these major phases of your previous three cited projects: 1. Planning and Analysis 2. Design 3. Pre-installation Construction 4. Pre-installation Staging 5. Installation 6. System Integration 7. Implementation and Documentation 8. Training on Operational Procedures, Management, and Maintenance 9. Site Acceptance Testing IV. Do you have Certifications by the equipment manufacturer to sell, design, and install their respective VoIP system. (Provide copies of all pertinent Certifications to prove your qualifications.)
