- This solicitation is currently available and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ) #0037010, the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC #2001-04. The solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 and the business Size Standard is 500 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed price solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract for one base year and four one year options. The Governments' requirement is for the brand name or equal of the following five items: 1) SRS-5 Suit QC?D Green LG, 2) SRS-5 Helmet Vent Biochem Green XL, 3) Visor Non-Laminated Long Pouch & Cover, 4) CPU Hood Modified (ISI), and 5) SRS-5 Search Light. All proposals are due no later than May 22, 2002, 3:00pm, EST, to FBI, ATT: Julie A. Hammond, RFQ-000037010, Room 10254, 935 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20535.
