Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required For Roof Replacement - Administration and Engineering Building @ USCG Group Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Base Work for Administration Building: Remove the existing aluminum gutters and downspouts and salvage for reinstallation. Remove existing single ply EPDM roof system including roof membrane, roof flashings, roof insulation and roof edge to expose the existing wood roof deck. The existing roof edge blocking and aluminum clad facia are scheduled to remain. All existing roof top equipment is scheduled to remain. All existing exposed HVAC ductwork is scheduled to remain except as specifically noted for removal and replacement. All HVAC ductwork support legs are scheduled to be flashed and to receive a modified ?pitch pocket? application. Remove (14) existing clerestory windows and frames as necessary to complete new work. Install new hot mopped Modified Bitumen roof system including new tapered roof insulation, multiple ply roof membrane, associated roof flashings including various base and pipe penetration configurations, and new metal roof edge. Reinstall sections of roof mounted HVAC duct work and repair EIFS coating system. Install the salvaged gutters and downspouts with new aluminum mounting brackets and stainless steel screws. Replace damaged gutter and downspouts with new aluminum mounting rackets and stainless steel screws. Replace damaged gutter and downspout sections and transitions with new matching sections. Install new aluminum clad wood windows and interior wood trim and finish. Base Work Items Engineering Building: Remove existing storm damaged single ply EPDM roof system and temporary repair materials including roof membrane, roof flashings and roof insulation to expose the existing sloped gypsum roof deck. The existing plywood and blocking at the roof parapet are scheduled to remain. The existing aluminum roof coping is scheduled to be removed and replaced with a new aluminum coping. Install new hot mopped Modified Bitumem roof system including new roof insulation, and sloped insulation crickets, multiple ply roof membrane, associated roof flashings including various base and pipe penetration configurations and new coping The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and is open to both small and large businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
