- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Aircraft Services at Fairchild AFB. Major elements of service will include: Aircraft Services Management, Aircraft Arrival Processing and Departure Services, Fleet Services, and Emergency services. This acquisition will be accomplished using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13.5. This acquisition is 100% HUB-Zone small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 488190. The Small business size standard is $6M. The unit Small Business Specialist is Mr David Olson, he may be reached at (509) 247-4880; link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov; link to unit public information: http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. The performance period will be a 12-month base-year, with an anticipated start date of 1 Oct 02, and four one-year option periods. The quotation closing date and time for submission of offers will be stated in the solicitation package. The solicitation, notices, and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting system (FedBizOpps) site at www.eps.gov on or about 22 May 02. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
