Description
We are seeking comments from your company regarding Draft Solicitation DAAE30-02-Q-0208 for the EXPLOSIVE ORDINANCE DIVISION (EOD) Technology Division at U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenel, N.J.. The requirement is to develop application software to accomplish the following: 1) store, retrieve, track, and publish in multiple media, legacy documents presently in print (text, photos, manuals, EOD publications, foreign manuals/reports, etc.); 2) create, store, edit, track and publish in multiple media, EOD publications (ID Guides, Technical Information, Munitions Data Requirements), foreign materiel exploitation reports, and specialty handbooks. It is envisioned that the software system will comprise of two major categories of functions: an information system and an automated publishing system. The needed software capabilities will be acquired over three phases in three or more fiscal years. The documents offered for review are: (1) Statement of Work (SOW), (2) Solicitation Section L, Solicitation Preparation Instructions, and (3) Solicitation Section M, Basis for Award. All documents can also be downloaded from our web site, http://procnet.pica.army.mil. Any comments/questions will be considered when the final Request for Proposal (RFP) is constructed. Please use the following guidance when submitting comments: Identify information in the Draft RFQ requiring clarification to allow preparation of a valid proposal. Provide suggested changes to the Draft RFQ, which will better align any resultant contract with contemporary industry business practices, and rationale for those changes. Submitters grant the Government unrestricted use of any comments and suggested changes offered. The Government intends to conduct all communications electronically.
