The approved sources has been amended to include Boeing Helicopter (Vendor Code 77272) and SPS Technologies, Inc. (Vendor Code 56878)with Valley-Todeco Inc (Cage Code 06710), Apex Mfg Co Inc (Cage Code 2V343), because this part requires engineeri ng source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). See Numbered Notes 23, and 26.
