Description
NA System components and associated services are listed below: 1. Automation Hardware and Software, consisting of: a. Pentium III PC, keyboard, mouse, color monitor, Windows NT operating system, serial expansion card installed and an external modem with cables. b. Software that includes, Cell Assistant for Windows installed, Visual Basic software, PC anywhere and MS Office. 2. Companion II Data Acquisition System, consisting of the following hardware: a. One CompanionII rack-mountable master with power supplies central processor unit, with Analog I/O capability interface board and all supporting cables/connectors for analog output modules. b. Two CompanionII rack-mountable Slave units each with space for 24 channels of signal conditioners. c. All necessary interconnecting cables and input/output jacks (setup for 24 thermocouples). 3. Signal conditioning Modules to interface with item 2, consisting of: a. 24 Dataforth Thermocouple signal conditioning modules. b. 15 Dataforth Analog voltage signal conditioning modules. c. 4 Danaforth Frequency signal conditioning modules. d. 2 Danaforth RTD signal conditioning modules. e. 3 Dataforth Analog output 0-10vdc signal conditioning modules. 4. Five days training for four persons at the DyneSystems facility on Cell Assistant and Visual Basic test scripting. Two days phone/modem pcanywhere support. 5. Upgrade of serial communications capability to 19.2 kBaud, and systems check, to make Dyn-Loc IV Serial Nr. 678 compatible with Cell Assistant for Windows automations software. 6.On-site technical assistance, consisting of: Dyne-Loc IV control setup and tuning, with control tune training for test cell operators.
