- Description
- NA The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract for Site Development, Charleroi Locks and Dam, Monongahela River, Charleroi, Pennsylvania. The work includes construction of a service building and an operations building, construction of new access roads a nd parking lot, concrete mechanically stabilized (MSE) walls, concrete retaining wall, precast concrete box beam girder bridge, concrete paving and bituminous paving, site drainage, storm sewer system, sanitary sewer system, and gas, water and electrical d istribution systems. The period of performance will be 540 calendar days. Magnitude of the project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Pl ans and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. The CD's will be available approximately 051702. This will be an 8a competitive acquisition. This solicitation is restricted to 8(a) firms certified by the U.S. Small Business Ad ministration (SBA), Pittsburgh District Office. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this project.
