- NA PHASE I CULTURAL RESOURCES INVESTIGATION OF TIEBACK LEVEE ALIGNMENT, TWO BORROW AREAS AND THE VALLEY GOLF COURSE RELOCATION AREA, AND PHASE II TESTING AND NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES EVALUATION OF ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE 21PL17, AT THE CITY OF EAST GRA ND FORKS, POLK COUNTY, MINNESOTA. The contractor shall conduct a Phase I cultural resources survey of a 1.6-mile-long levee alignment and a 55-acre golf course relocation area. The contractor shall also conduct deep testing to check for buried archeologi cal sites at two borrow areas, totaling 22 acres. In addition, the contractor shall conduct Phase II testing and soil coring at prehistoric and historic archeological site 21PL17 to determine its eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places. K ey project personnel must meet the Secretary of the Interior?s professional qualification standards for prehistoric and historic archeologists.
