- NA Provide all supervision, plant labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with the Repairing the NY Guard Railroad Crossing, Fort Drum, NY. Scope of Work includes but is not limited to excavating and removal of existing co ncrete roadway, bollards, approach pads, and precast concrete panels, remove and salvage rail sections and joint bars, rebuild new grade crossing to include new sub-ballast, ballast, ties, precast railroad crossing panels, gravel subgrade, drainage tiles, geotextile, spikes, joint bar bolts and rail anchors, construct new concrete roadway. This procurement is Set-Aside for Small Business concerns pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 19.1008(a), Small Business Demonstration Program, NAIC S code 234990. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 - $100,000. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 13 May 2002. Note: The DUE DATE for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) shall be 15 days after actual issuance/posting dat e. The RFQ will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web, no hardcopies will be provided. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The Request for Quotation will not be mailed out and no mailing list will be mainta ined. All sources wishing to submit a quote are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the RFQ. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the quote as non-responsive. The quotes must be supplied in hard co py to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic bids will be accepted.
