- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042 plans to procure on other than full and open competition from Rolls Royce, Incorporated, 44425 Pecan Court, Suite 201, California, MD 20619, Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) and Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) in support of the AV-8B Program and support systems. The Pegasus vectored thrust turbofan engine was designed, developed, and is produced by Roll Royce. They posses proprietary technical data required to fully support the F-402 engines. The requirement is for CETS and CMS to provide various fleet and shore activities with an estimated 528 man months of effort for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of Defense personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the AV-8B aircraft. Access to and understanding of the technical database for specific equipment is essential. The period of performance will be 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, with three one-year option periods.
