Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0179 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2002-07 as well as DCN 20020426. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511and the business size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for Test, Teardown and Evaluation for Repair to OEM's Functional Specifications. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 - 1 ea P/N 1085AS551, S/N B02400, Antenna Pedestal ; Clin 0002 - 1 ea P/N 1085AS551, S/N B03100, Antenna Pedestal; Clin 0003 - 1 ea P/N 1085AS551, S/N B03600, Antenna Pedestal. This requirment is being issed as a sole source to Condor Systems Inc., 18705 Madrone Parkway, Morgan Hill CA. The Government does not possess the necessary drawings/specifications to allow for full and open competition. Condor Systems is the original equipment manufacturer and has the required proprietary data and replacement parts to ensure the equipment meets the OEM's Functional Specifications. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 120 days after award. Inspection and acceptance will be at source by a DCMC Representative. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All respon sible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Not-To-Exceed purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NOTE: Provisions with a ?Fill-in? MUST be filled out completely and submitted with the offer. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
