- Description
- The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) intends to issue Draft 4 of the Request for Proposal Number R-OPC-21970 on or after Tuesday, February 5, 2002 for the HUD Information Technology Service (HITS) acquisition. It is anticipated that this will be a single performance based contract for nation-wide Infrastructure Information Technology and Telecommunications services covering approximately ten (10) years. It will be solicited and awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 15 for Full and Open Competition. Interested parties are requested to review the Draft 4 Request for Proposal when it is posted electronically on this website. No paper copies will be provided. Draft 4 of the Request for Proposals is being issued in order to solicit comments and concerns regarding its unique features. Comments or concerns regarding the Draft RFP must be provided electronically to the Contracting Officer by emailing her at Ann_F._VanHouten@hud.gov. There will not be any confirmation of receipt of the emails and no responses to questions or comments will be provided. All information received on or before Friday February 8, 2002 will be reviewed and if appropriate incorporated into the Request for Proposals. Please note that this is a Draft Request for Proposal. The Government reserves the right not to issue the Request for Proposal or to change any or all of the Draft Request for Proposal. Potential Offerors should not prepare proposals or incur any proposal preparation costs based on this Draft Request for Proposal. The Government will not reimburse any offeror for proposal preparation costs associated with this Draft Request for Proposal. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-FEB-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 06-MAY-2002.
