- Description
- This solicitation is for the establishment of a corporate contract(s) for spare parts related to General Purpose Machinery and Equipment and Electrical Machinery and Equipment that are in accordance with military specifications and/or drawings and code and part number items manufactured by numerous sources. The NSNs are items that have historically been procured from Kampi Components Co.Inc. All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition download" menu item on the DSCC Internet Bid Board (DIBBS) under the heading"DSCC Corporate Contract Solicitations". Access is directly available from http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is available via the World Wide Web-refer to WEB LINK at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. FSCs to be covered under this project include 1710,2510,2520,2530,2540,2590,2910,2920,2930,3010,3020,3040,3950, 4320,4330,4610,4620,4720,4730,4810,4820,4940,5930,5935,5945,5962, and 5998. All responsible soucres may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s): 8,9 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of 4/12/02 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. Availability of drawings. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available(applicable to code and part number NSNs). The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years)shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procure includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class (See listed above in this description).While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Amendment This solicitation is being amended to include NSNs managed by DSCR and the items being acquired are spare parts related to Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing and are code and part number items manufactured by numerous sources.
