- Subject synopsis is for the procurement of line item 0001, QTY: 2 each, NSN: 1560-00-602-5461LG, P/N: 363001-1, Nomenclature: Crew Door. Material: Aluminum, Function: serves as entry and exit point for passengers and cargo, Applicable: C-130 aircraft. A firm fixed price foreign military sales (FMS) contract is contemplated to Lockheed Corp-Lockheed GA Co, Marietta GA. Government?s required delivery is 30 June 2004. Approximate issue date is 28 May 2002 with a response date of 18 June 02. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Justification: Supplies or services are available from only one or a limited number or responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and can not be furnished by the government. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
