- NA 17. ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO SUSIE PITMAN. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LS-TB, Susie Pitman, Contracting Officer, Phone: (256) 876-4246. No telephone request will be accep ted. PRON: D1285347; NSN: 1055-01-283-5832; P/N: 13027119; QUANTITY: 281 each, applicable to MLRS Missile System. This item is an urgent requirement with a required delivery date (RDD) of 8 July 2002. Failure to meet the RDD or obtain the earliest possi ble delivery will result in impairment in stock availability which will adversely impact operational readiness. Full and open competition will neither assure that the RDD is met nor permit the earliest delivery to be obtained. Delivery schedule is 90 day s after contract award. An additional 180 days (90 days first article plus 90 days submission and test) would be required for any source other than Transtechnology Corporation Breeze-Eastern, the only source that can meet the Government?s needs. Deliverie s are F.O.B. origin to Fort Sill, OK 73503-5100. Due to urgency, we intend to release the solicitation immediately and do not intend to allow a 30 day period of receipt of proposals; therefore, companies are encouraged to express their interest immediatel y. The most recent representative unit price and quantity relative to this acquisition is NSN: 1055-01-283-5832, award date: 25 Oct 2001, quantity: 190 each, unit price: $526.22. The government provides this price history without assuming the responsibil ity for any resulting conclusions or interpretations that may be made. The price history is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a basis for offer/bid. Documentation is adequate for full and open competition; however a cquisition from any source other than Transtechnology Corporation Breeze-Eastern would require first article submission and testing. First article submission and testing is not required if the item is acquired from Transtechnology Corporation Breeze-Easte rn. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. ?This acquisition contains technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, USC., SEC 2751 ET SEQ) or the Export Administration Act (Title 50, USC., APP 2401-2402) Executive Order 121470. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government.? The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be ad justed dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the date in Block 10. ***See Note 22, 23 and 26 ***
