- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to competitively procure Central Office provided dial tone telephone service via CENTREX. The service shall support up to approximately 5,400 telephone numbers for NAVSTA Great Lakes and tenant activities located in the Great Lakes area to include Fort Sheridan. The service includes Direct Inward and Outward Dialing (DIOD) capability, access to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), Defense Switched Network (DSN) and Federal Technology Service (FTS-2001), and providing and maintaining the outside cable plant having multiple Rate Demarcation Points (RDP) and terminations in buildings throughout the NAVSTA Great Lakes and Fort Sheridan campuses. A firm fixed price, indefinite delivery type contract for one twelve-month base period and four one-year option periods is anticipated. All responsible sources may request a solicitation and submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. The solicitation will be made available electronically upon its release at www.neco.navy.mil.
