- Description
- Major tasks will include Fleet Ballistics Missile (FBM) Weapon System Integration and Technical Support of Facilities, Kings Bay Supply Support, U.K. Trident SWS, and U.K. Logistics Support . The effort will also include options for Sustainment Planning and Studies, Systems Integration for D5 Backfit of SSBN 726 Class, D-5 Backfit Start-Up Support, START Support, Tomahawk TLAM-N Support at SWFLANT and SWFPAC, SSGN Attack Weapons System (AWS) Systems Integration, Advanced Systems' Studies, Systems Integration for D5 Backfit and Shorebased Interface Requirements Interface Requirements (SIRD) Engineering. The contract will include an option provision to increase the level-of-effort up to 30%. The contract performance will be 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. Award will be made using other than full and open competition to BAE SYSTEMS Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Maryland, the only known source with unique facilities and personnel expertise required for this program.
