Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, DTCG81-02-Q-3X2116, is issued as a Request For quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. FAR clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 421690 and Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. Item Description and Quantities are as indicated: Furuno Radar, Model FR1510MK3, with 4 feet open array antenna, P/N XN12AF/4, 5 each; Furuno Display Grips,P/N 008-423-420, 5 each; Service Manual for Furuno Radar Model FR1510MK3, P/N SME-345-00Z, 6 each; Operator?s Manual (in Spanish) for Furuno Radar Model FR1510MK3, 10 each; Furuno SSB HF Radio Model FS1503, 10 each; Service Manual for Furuno SSB HF Radio Model FS1503, P/N SME-561-40Z, 11 each; Furuno VHF Radio Model FM-2710, 10 each; Furuno GPS Model GP-36, 10 each; Operator?s Manual (in Spanish) for GP-36, P/N OMS-439-90Z, 10 each; Standard Horizon Loudhailer System, P/N LH5, 10 each; Standard Loudhailer Horn, P/N 220SW, 20 each; Ray Marine Intercom Speaker, P/N M95998, 40 each. Acceptance: Destination- Miami, FL. Required Delivery Date is June 11, 2002. Deliver to: USCG Cutter Gentian, 100 MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, FL 33139. If quotes are not FOB Destination, indicate Point Of Origin and shipping/freight cost. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Price and delivery factors shall be used to evaluate offers. FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror's Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items (May 2001) MUST AND SHALL be completed and submitted with the RFQs. NO CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO QUOTES LACKING THIS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION SET FORTH IN THIS SOLICITATION. FAR Clause that applies to this RFQ: 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997).
