Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to remove a 300,000 btuh oil fired boiler in boiler room, remove hydronic piping insulation above suspended ceiling and replace, remove and replace 7 fan coil unit valves above suspended ceiling and one floor mounted fan coil unit valves, remove and replace approximately 350 Sq. Ft. of suspended ceiling tile, salvage and use to replace ceiling tiles damaged or broken during construction. Reconfigure one above ceiling fan coil unit so that conditioned air is supplied to the galley and return air comes from the scullery. Install approximately 2 courses of CMU block to two existing walls in the boiler room. CMY shall be used to extend the two walls up to the underside of the metal roof deck and shall be fire stopped at roof and around existing conduit and piping that will run through the wall to other parts of the building. Finished wall shall have a 1-hour fire rating. Provide temporary heating and/or cooling to maintain 68 degrees F. during the winter and 72 degrees F. during the summer, in the area of work. The period of performance is 90 calendar days after contractor?s receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The range of this procurement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. In accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this project is a set-aside for Emerging Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 235110 (formerly SIC Code 1711). The Small Business Size standard is $11.5 million. (To qualify as an Emerging Small Business, a firm?s average gross income for the past three (3) years must be 50% or less than the Small Business standard of $11.5 million) The due date for quotes is approximately 06/28/2002.
