- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to install 8 Helix moorings, remove not more than 15 existing moorings with varying anchors not exceeding 350 pounds each, and relocate 6 moorings with 250 pound mushroom anchors. The moorings to be removed will be placed on concrete pavement at the Pine Hall Sailing Center. In addition, the contractor shall remove and dispose existing mooring chains and install 8 new 200 pound heavy cast iron mushroom type anchors and mooring chains near the existing crew boat pier at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT (New London County). An on-site walk-through will be scheduled during the week of June 3rd, 2002. NAICS code is 234990, with a size standard of $28.5 million. Estimated cost of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available on May 24, 2002 and may be accessed for download on 05/24/2002 at www.eps.gov. The due date for quotes will be June 14, 2002. Any amendments issued for this solicitation will also be posted at this website.
