Description
NA This solicitation is Hubzone set-aside. Estimated cost of construction is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. The assigned NAICS is 233320 (SIC is 1542) with a Size Standard of $28,500,000.00. Construction completion is 300 calendar days. Optional items wi ll be included in the bid schedule. Project consists of construction of new single story IMA Operations facility totaling 1,363 square meters (sm), which includes 330 sm of administrative space and 1,033 sm of fabrication/ operational and storage shop are as. New facility will be located on the southeast portion of Fort Meade at the corner of Wilson and Morrison Streets near Rock Avenue. This solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. The media through which the government chooses to issue this solicitation will be on the web site; this solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors may view and/or download solicitation information from the internet at https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil. Al l contractors must go to this web site to register as a plan holder. Each contractor need only register once for each solicitation. Only registered plan holders will be provided the solicitation. This procurement will be advertised as a Request for Propo sal and will be evaluated for Best Value for award of the project. The technical evaluation criteria will be established in the RFP. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged business contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Busin ess Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can receive SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/ subcontractors. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contra ctors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract. For information regarding CCR registration, the CCR Web site can be accessed at http://www.ccr2000.com. Other information regarding reg istration can be obtained through CCR Assistance Center (CCRAC) at 1-888-227-2423. A paper form for registration may be obtained from the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which s hall be considered by the agency. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 23 May 2002 with proposals due on or about 28 June 2002.
