Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to modify the software resident in the High Integration Air Data Computer (HIADC), PN 50-155-01, for the C-130, VP/UP-3, H-46 and H-53 aircrafts from BAE Systems of Rochester, England. This update will correct data validity dropout errors occurring on the H-53 aircraft during low-speed flight. BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer and supplier of the HIADC, and as such, is the only source available with the necessary background, knowledge and experience necessary to modify the software.
