Description

This is a Notice of Intent from the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland (NAWCAD) to contract on an other than full and open competition basis with Navmar Applied Sciences Corporation, Warminister, PA, to acquire a continuation of efforts for engineering support in the analysis and assessment of systems, subsystems, and technologies. Support efforts include: Flight Information Systems, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optics (EO), Acoustics, Mission Sensor Integration and Testing and Hardware/Software Design and Development. This action is a modification to contract N00421-97-D-1118 that will increase contract hours, labor, travel and material to allow for a bridge to assure that services are maintain until a new contract vehicle can be awarded. This contract modification will be negotiated on a sole source basis with under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements). This is not a solicitation. No RFP will be issued on the basis of this Notice of Intent. See numbered Note(s) 22
