- Description
- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Offer (RFO)for Interpreting and Transliterating Services. The place of performance will be primarily at the NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD with some work to be performed at NASA Headquarters (HQ), Washington, DC. The Contractor will provide sign language and oral interpreting services utilizing one on-site (Greenbelt, MD) interpreter, full time Monday through Friday, and one part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The interpreters will be on duty for a total of 8 hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with a half hour for lunch. The period of performance will be 1-year with 2 one-year option periods. The provisions and clauses in the RFO are those in effect through FAC 97-03. Additional contract terms and conditions including the Statement of Work are attached. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 541930 and $5M respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Offers for the items(s) described above are due in triplicate by 2:00 p.m. on May 23, 2002 to NASA/GSFC, Attn: Bid Room, Code 213, Bldg. 17, Rm. S142, Greenbelt, MD 20771 and must include, solicitation number,taxpayer identification number (TIN), and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at URL: http://procure.arc.nasa.gov/Acq/Forms/Index.html to submit a offer. Offerors must include completed copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items with their offer.
