Description

The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI)Schuylkill, located at Minersville, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for contract parenting program services at FCI Schuylkill. The service is to be provided on site. Services will be required for a one-year base period, with the possibility of four one-year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government not to exceed a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantity for each twelve (12) month period of the contract is 884 one-hour sessions. Instructor(s) must have a Bachelor's Degree from a state accredited college, provide verifiable evidence of qualifications to teach in the area of parenting education, family skills, substance abuse, prenatal care, and family literacy classes. A security investigation/clearance is required. The solicitation will be available on or after June 10, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this maner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
