Description
Provide and Install Audio Visual System This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Please contact the primary point of contact for copy of the solictation package. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (website: http://ccr2000.com) Business size standard is: Fewer than 100 employees; the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 5046 and/or the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)421440. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS: The 62as needs to install audio visual systems in six rooms in Bldg 266 Canon drive. Work will entail the design, acquisition, and installation of all required equipment to provide a state of the art presentation system. The main briefing room will have overhead projection, lectern, low voltage lighting controls, sound system, RF component controls, CATV/DVD, and remote access points installed in floor mounted junction boxes. The Scheduling area will require three custom built 72" diagonal rear projection displays with signal amplification, signal splitter, and KVM controller. The Flight planning room will use a 50" plasma panel to display CATV signal and data from Scheduling area displays. The last three rooms will use varying combinations of the types of equipment used in the main briefing room. Work under this contract includes all labor, materials, tools, transportation, services, supervision, and coordination necessary to complete the installation of all audio/visual equipment, as described in these specifications and illustrated in the associated drawings. The Audio/Visual System is referred to herein as the "System" and the Audio/Visual Systems Integrator as the ?Integrator?. Not withstanding any detailed information in the Contract Documents, it is the responsibility of the Integrator to supply systems in full working order. The Integrator assumes total responsibility to furnish all components required to accomplish the intent of these operating systems and features. It shall be the responsibility of the Integrator to verify conditions relating to all items and note any discrepancies in the intent of the System as part of your proposal. ****************Due to all the questions and concerns about the short notice for the site visit for these projects the site visit has been postponed. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused. The new time and date is 24 May 2002, at 9:00 AM. Contractors should arrive at the Visitors Center outside the Main Gate no later than 8:00 AM for sign in. A bus will be provided to transport everyone to the site. The site is under construction so appropriate attire is required (short-sleeved shirt, long pants or skirts, and work shoes as a minimum. Safety-toed shoes/boots are recommended; if not worn the places that you're allowed to enter might be limited). Please bring your own hard hat if you have one, if you don't please note that in your RSVP. RSVP is required by 4:00 PM, 17 May 2002. The solicitation package will be available no later than 15 May 2002, and will be emailed to responders and posted to the FedBizOps website. Directions from Little Rock Regional Airport to Little Rock AFB will be provided.*******************
