Description
WR-ALC/LYKB anticipates issuing a corporate contract to Raytheon, Ft Wayne, Indiana for a wide variety of sole source supplies and services pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S.C.230(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Supplies and services include, but are not limited to, spare parts, repair, data, related technical, engineering and form/fit/function services, etc. for multiple classifications of goods and services. Based upon market research, the Government will utilize policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, in its solicitation for the desired supplies and services. Interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The proposed action contemplates a ten year ordering period for an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract. Anticipated value of this acquisition is expected to exceed $300 million. Any federal agency can utilize the supplies and services described herein. This action will incorporate supplies and services performed by any Raytheon Facility other than Goleta EW, CA. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concerns. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call Kathy Cames at 478-926-2604. See Note 22.
