- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F23MS4209101 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. (iv) This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 562211 and small business size standard is $10,500,000. (v) This requirement consists of three line items. (vi) Line Item 001: Hazardous Material Storage Refrigerator, Manufacturer: Lab Safety P/N 1A-77441 or equal. Line Item 002: Portable Shower, Manufacturer: Lab Safety P/N 1A-25334 or equal. Line Item 003: Collapsible Wall Ultra-Containment Berms, Manufacturer: Lab Safety P/N 1A-67427 or equal. (vii) FOB shall be destination, and shipping should be included in the unit price. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this solicitation. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: Best Value Determination. The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. (xi) The provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http://www.arnet.gov/far. (xii) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government (xiii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 is considered checked and is applicable to this acquisition: (11-16), (18), (21), (24). (xiv) Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration web page, http://www.ccr2000.com. (xv) The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) is not applicable to this acquisition. (xvi) Commerce Business Daily numbered note 1 applies to this acquisition.
