- Description
- Type III Helicopter available for use by the Pacific Northwest Region Helicopter Inspector Pilot. The aircraft will be flown exclusively by the Region 6 Helicopter Program Manager and will be used primarily as a point to point mode of transportation for base inspections. Missions may include occasional project work, but no fire suppression. There is no requirement for a fuel vehicle or additional personnel. Maintenance will be the contractors responsibility. This contract will guarantee 75 hours over the contract period of one year, 50 of these hours will be guaranteed between June 24th and September 30th, during which time the aircraft will be located at Redmond, Oregon and exclusively available to the U.S. Forest Service.
