- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure one (1) each Transformer, Tierney Electrical Manufacturing Company P/N AC3750-8T7H-PM-SS-ES, OR EQUAL. The Government does NOT possess any engineering and/or technical data or drawings to release with the solicitation package, however any alternate Transformer must meet the following performance characteristics: Marine grade, power transformer, 750 KVA, outdoor NEMA-3R, 3 phase, 60 HZ, 480 VAC delta to 450 VAC delta, electrostatic shielding between secondary windings and primary windings as well as between secondary windings and the core; windings tapped 2 at 2.5% FCAN and 4 at 2.5% FCBN, 150 degree C, insulation class 220, copper windings and copper conductors, coils triple dipped insulated and oven dried, pad mount stainless steel enclosure with galvanized base, marine duty construction, 4.5% impedance, stainless steel hardware, front access doors with Penta-bolt mechanism. Interested sources wishing to provide Transformer EQUAL to the Tierney Electrical model indicated shall be required to submit technical information, engineering data, drawings, etc., with their quotation to provide for evaluation. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Package DTCG40-02-Q-50109 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about 14 May 2002. The due date for receipt of quotations shall be 21 May 2002. Quotations received after this deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition, however, shall be maintained on file for any future acquisitions. Delivery shall be no later than 30 calendar days after the date of award and shall be made via F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. #86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000.
