- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F43TRS21000100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote . The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 02-06. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 443112, with a small business size standard of $6.5. Two complete conference/training room projection systems to include: two Projectors: Mitsubishi X390 XGA video projector (2200ANSI lumens; 400:1 contrast ratio; digital inputs; HDTV 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i formats. Two short throw 8:1 lens. Two ceiling mount assemblies. Two 3' x 1.5" pipe extension for rear projection. Two ceiling tile adapter plate. Two video processing: Toshiba SD-4700 progressive scan DVD player. Two JVC HRS5900U HiFi S-video recorder. Two Yamaha HTR-5440. Four Yamaha NSAW1 stereo monitors. Two system integration &control: AMX VPT-CP. Two Xanatech infrared repeating system - micro-link 490W-00. Two Xanatech infrared repeating system - connecting block 789-44. Eight Xanatech infrared repeating system - emitters 282M/RP. Xanatech infrared repeating system - power supply 782-00. Two wireless keyboard rf-25 frequency 40' range. Two reverse KVM switch. Two Gyration RF Gyromouse. Two laptop interface connection - Altinex ISC2100. Two laptop interfact connection - Altinex CB5425PL. Two laptop interface connection - audio interconnect cable 25'. Two cabinets: Middle Atlantic BRK16 equipment rack. Four cabinet: Middle Atlantic US2 utility shelves. Two cabinets: Furman PL-plus power conditioner. Two interconnect cables - PFT12C. Two interconnect cables - PFT 12S. Six interconnect cables - PFT12A. Two interconnect cables - CB3715MR. Two interconnect cables - PFT 12AV. Quote should include installation of equipment, rack, and AMX touch screen components with programming to allow operation of all equipment from AMX remote. Wireless keyboard switches on automatically. Install podium/wall mount laptop interface connectors with switching control provided. Install rear mounted projector on-axis mounting of projector. Image shall fill full height of existing screen. The quote shall include up to 8 hours of training with 24 hour response time for warranty service at no charge for the period of one full year from the date of installation and acceptance. A site visit will be on 20 May, at 9:30 CST and attendance is mandatory for award consideration. To gain access to the installation, arrive at the south gate no later than 9:15 CST. You will be provided an escort to the site. The award will be based on the best value for the government. Please provide FOB destination pricing. Include shipping in the cost of each item not a separate line item. It is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. It is amended to read: Submit signed and dated offer to 97 CONS/LGCA, 205 S. 6th St. Bldg. 318, Altus AFB OK 73523-5147 at or before 1630 (4:30 P.M) CST, 24 May 2002. Submit dated quotations on company letter head or quotation form. Quotations may be faxed to (580) 481-7472. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Apr 2002) with the quotation. If a copy of the provisions are needed, the can be found on arnet.gov/far. FAR clause 52.212-4 (Feb 2002), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition with the following addendum: DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (Mar 2000). The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Apr 2001)and its deviations (May 2001) applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
