The National Defense Industrial Association announces the 10th annual Global Demilitarization Symposium and Exhibition. This Symposium continues to support the Department of Defense in numerous efforts directed at reducing the stockpile of excess and obs olete strategic, tactical and conventional munitions. This year?s agenda will focus on the global challenges and successes experienced in the disposition of energetic materials. Topics include; ongoing disposal, recycling and reuse programs, research and development efforts, transitioning technologies, and the latest policy issues affecting this business. The Global Demilitarization Symposium will also provide an Advance Planning Briefing for the Industry on the U.S government?s initiatives in this area. An optional day trip to the Bluegrass Army Depot is being planned for May 24, 2002. Please see the web site below for details.
