Description

NA Install cut-stone wall along side of north and south breakwater on an island in the Delaware River. Provide and place underlay stones over geo-textile fabric to form foundation for cut-stone wall. Fill low areas behind north and south breakwaters with fi ll obtained by dredging in borrow area in the Delaware River. Historical restoration of north sluice gate. Provide positive drainage behind north and south breakwaters into existing sluice way through installation of culvert and grading. Provide Unexplo ded Ordnance (UXO) Team for detecting, locating and identifying unexploded ordnance. Locate and report archaeological and historical artifacts found during construction and relocate on island as directed. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 29 May 2002 and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests shall be accepted. Contractors shall download this solicitation (including drawings) and all amendments (including drawings) from the Internet at the follo wing address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or after issue date of the solicitation; The official media of distribution for this solicitation is the ?WEB PAGE?. If any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation including any drawings. Bids will be opened on or about 2 J uly 2002 at 11:00 a.m. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The estimated range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal em ployment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be made as a whole to one bidder.
