- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport requires 20 (up to 25) each aluminum forgings, 7075-T6 per QQ-A-367. Forged sizes shall meet the following: 13.12? +/- .100? outside diameter; wall thickness: 1.00? +/- .050?; length: 30.25? +/- .100?; to protect: 12.75? OD x 11.56? ID; and protect a 29.813? length. Material certification with material delivery is required. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes for quantities of 20 plus price break for 25 are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-06. This requirement is set-aside for Small Business with NAICS Code 332112_and size standard of 500. The requirements are to be delivered by 05 Jul 02, acceptance to be at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, with FOB Destination. The following provisions apply to this solicitation, 52.212-1 Commercial Items; 52-212-3 Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items, a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 to be submitted with vendor quote; 52-212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items and 52-212-5. Responses shall be due NLT 1600 hours PT on 15 April 02. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used for this procurement.
