- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LASER HEAD. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is(1)Cancel the Small Business Set-Aside; (2)Include line item #2 for one each of a Laser Power Supply: Pulse length: Adjustable to 300 micrometers with 1.0 micrometers step size. Pulse repetition frequency: Variable to 20 Hz; Meters: Digital display for diode current digital display for pulse length. Water flow interlock: Available. Power: 110V, 1 phase preferred, 208 V, 3 phase acceptable; Cabling: All cable between power supply and laser head. Include all power cables;(3)One each cooling system (chiller)with a flow rate: 1.5 gallons per minute at 50 psi. Cooling capaciaty: 4500 W; Temperature range: +5.0 to +35 degrees C; Temperature control: +/-0.1 degrees C. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to 05/15/02. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 04/11/02. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
