Description

The USDA, Federal Grain Inspection Services (FGIS), Kansas City, Missouri, intends to procure one (1) 10-ton, 175,000 BTU, 100% outside air make up unit, completely self-contained. Submit faxed quotations to ?Purchasing Section,? at (612) 370-2136, Attention Joanne Mann.. QUOTATIONS ARE DUE MAY 20, 2002, BY 10:00 a.m. local time. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-06. Quotes be must for delivery f.o.b. destination, _________________. All offers must be signed. SPECIFICATIONS: Price shall include removal and disposal of one (1) 1500CSM 100% outside air unit; removal and disposal of one (1) 10 ton Trane condensing unit; removal and disposal of one (1) 152,000 BTU outdoor duct heater. One (1) ton 175,000 BTU, 100% make up outside air unit, installed on existing roof rails. Unit must be completely self-contained with the following options installed: high gas by-pass, load temperature cut out. Unit may consist of one or two components. Electrical and labor to complete the job and minor duct work, as needed. A crane will be required to mount the unit on the two-story building.
