Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to procure on May 21, 2002 from SRI Consulting on a sole-source basis using Simplified Acquisition Procedures a subscription for "Specialty Chemical Update Program" and renew the subscription for the "Chemical Economics Handbook" through 12/31/02. This notice is not a request for quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the government's requirement no later than the response date. Capability statements must include documentation of an in-depth knowledge and prior experience. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 51112. The determination to sole source this procurement is due to SRI being a market research firm that has developed the most complete inventory of market research data available on both the food ingredient and polymer industries.
