Description
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to locate, screen, hire and maintain personnel to perform Host-Nation Liaison, Linguist and Arabic Advisor (HNLLAA) duties. The employees must be capable of both spoken and written translation of modern standard Arabic and standard English. The contractor employee will act in performing the functions of protocol, facilitator, negotiator, and liaison to senior American and Saudi officers and officials. Place of performance is Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; however, the contractor may be required to relocate or perform service anywhere in the US Central Command Area of Responsibility. If a change in the primary performance location occurs, contractor will be entitled to an equitable adjustment IAW the changes clause of the contract. The HNLLAAs will be assigned to serve the Joint Task Force-Southwest Asia (JTF-SWA) Headquarters, the 363d Air Expeditionary Wing, the 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron, or the 363d Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, all of which are located at PSAB. The contractor, if needed, may be required to perform the services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (in the event an emergency situation arises). When recalled, the contractor will have two hours to respond in person, depending on nature of emergency. The government will handle emergency situations by telephone when possible.
