Small Business Set-Aside
Partial Small Business

Description
The Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor has identified a requirement for a wide array of applied research capabilities. In 1997, the agency identified a similar requirement, and competed and awarded several labor-hour contracts for the performance of economic studies on employee health and pension benefits policy issues. PWBA is re-competing this requirement. Once awarded, the new contracts will become the platform for the specification and funding of discrete task orders for the conduct of applied research studies. The contracts will be awarded for a period of performance of one year, with the option at the discretion of the Government to extend the performance for four additional one-year periods. This procurement is a partial small business set-aside. The NAICS code for the set-aside is 541720 and the size standard is $6 million. The Government expects to award a minimum of two small business set-aside contracts. All requests for a copy of the solicitation shall be faxed in writing and received within fifteen days of publication date of this notice. Please make reference to the solicitation number, RFP L/A 02-22, on the request. Please be sure to include a contact person, the company name and address and the company telephone and fax number on the request. The fax number for this office is (202) 693-4579. PLEASE DO NOT FOLLOW UP FAXED REQUESTS WITH A MAILED REQUEST. No telephone requests will be honored. The solicitation document will be released through regular mail to all offerors who request a copy via fax.
