- Description
- Contractor will be responsible for renovation of 50,500 square feet of building area. The renovation includes but is not limited to replacement of the existing display cases and support equipment with new, enlarge the sales area and upgrade to the new d?cor to include walls, floor and ceiling finishes. The lighting systems for the sales area will require upgrading to provide energy efficient systems. Also, some demolition, removal, patching and repairing of selected portions of the commissary building will be included. The facility will have the sales floor extended eastward through the current administrative employee spaces and into the warehouse area and the displaced areas will be reconstructed in the warehouse. Sales area will be expanded westward through the patron toilets and the deli/bakery. These displaced areas will be constructed and sales will remain in complete and full operation during the contract duration. Offerors are responsible for Periodic Preventative Maintenance (PPM) as specified in the specifications and will continue for 90 calendar days after final acceptance of the project. Performance period is 455 calendar days. The magnitude of this construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This procurement is unrestricted and will be awarded using the Request for Proposal (RFP) Past Performance Tradeoff (PPT) acquisition method. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price, with past performance being more important than price. All responsible sources meeting the criteria set forth in the RFP may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. Estimated closing date for offerors is on or about 30 Jun 02.
