Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal; the number is DAAB07-02-R-B010. The proposed effort is for a new, firm-fixed-price type contract for one hundred and thirty-four AN/P RC-112C Survival Radio Sets (NSN 5820-01-458-6018) and 8 KY-913 Program Loaders (NSN 7025-01-279-5308). Operations Procurement, Air force and foreign military sales (FMS) funds will be used. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and claus es are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This acquisition is intended to be a sole source to General Dynamics (Scottsdale, Arizona 85252), therefore, it is not a set-aside. Shipments are to be FOB Origin. Applicable to this sol icitation is FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. Offerors are required to complete and submit a copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; this provision is to be sent as a separate elec tronic attachment. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. Applicable to this solicitation is FAR 52.212-5, Contract terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commerci al Items. This clause is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. Additional terms and conditions are as follows: DFARS 252.212-7001, this clause is to be sent as a separate electronic attachment. This acquisition is a rated order. Offers are due no later than 03 June 2002. The US Army Communications Electronics Comma nd (CECOM) has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Army?s Single Face to Industry to allow electronic postings of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation for Bids (IFBs) from CECOM to industry.
