Description

NA The Broad Agency Announcement DAAB15-02-R-0030, Autonomous Mine Detection Sensors, is being a modified to make corrections in the original announcement. As a result of these changes: 1) The Government's intent is to hold the demonstration at Fort A.P. Hi ll in late FY 02. Therefore, the first paragraph of Part III, White Paper Submission, White Paper Content, is changed to read: 'In order to be evaluated for participation in the demonstration to take place at Fort AP Hill in late FY02, vendors are require d to submit a white paper describing the technical capabilities of the proposed technology and the estimated cost for attendance of the demonstration. The purpose of the white paper is to preclude unwarranted effort and expense by potential offerors in pre paring a full technical and cost proposal for efforts not considered responsive or for efforts evaluated to have very low overall probability of obtaining support.' 2) The following is included as the second paragraph of Part V, General Information, subpar agraph entitled Subcontracting: 'If a subcontract(s) with a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) is proposed, offerors are reminded of the limitations in their use (see FAR 35.017) and must provide documentation in the proposal that wo rk is not otherwise available from the private sector.' And 3) That part of Part III, White Paper Submittal, subparagraph entitled White Paper Due Date and Time reading 'due by 15 June 2002 at 12 noon Eastern Daylight Savings Time' is changed to read: 'due by 17 June 2002 at 12 noon Eastern Daylight Savings Time'.
