Description
Scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, furnishing all labor, material and equipment necessary for an office renovation. Work includes but is not limited to: architectural changes to include the removal and replacement of walls, ceiling, and floor surfaces, mechanical upgrades to include re-ducting of VAV boxes and diffusers, and electrical requirements to include new power and lighting, all in accordance with the specifications and drawings provided. Work will be performed at the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, Peoria, IL. The contract completion time is 180 calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 233320 with a size standard of $28.5 million. The estimated cost range is between $400,000 and $700,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. Specifications will be available on or about May 31, 2002. GSA, PBS, Property Management Division, Contract Support Services Branch, will no longer issue construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The subject solicitation includes Sensitive But Unclassified building information (SBU). For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the attached Document Security Notice to Prospective Bidders/Offerors. In addition, the following information must be submitted and or provided by the requester via the Notice. 1.) Copy of company business license 2.) Company?s Dun and Bradstreet number 3.) Valid Tax Identification Number. For persons picking up the SBU documents in person, a valid picture state driver?s license is required. The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. NO TELEPHONIC OR E:MAIL REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED, however, facsimiles will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the solicitation will be released in compact disc (CD) to the requester. Potential offerors must ensure that requests include the address to which the CD is to be sent. All requests must be submitted to: General Services Administration, Attn: Gabriela Del Real, 230 S. Dearborn St. Room 3324, Chicago, IL 60604 or to facsimile number 312-353-6323. Potential offerors will be responsible for monitoring the website for amendment(s) if any, to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be July 2, 2002 at 3:00p.m. (CST). All offers are to be submitted to General Services Administration, Attn: Christine Donovan, 509 W.
